Thank you to everyone who helped out during the response to the July 2025 Chantal flooding in central NC! As of October 2025 we are winding down the last few clean up and rebuild projects we have capacity for.
As you may know, we facilitated a ton of work for many months during the early part of the long aftermath of Hurricane Helene response and recovery.
We have a group of people stocking up on supplies for future responses, engaging in skillshares, making plans and allies around future responses. We're excited to see and support some disaster reliance planning on the neighborhood level in the area as well. We'd love to talk with you if this interests you.
Still Needed
Space: Warehouse space. Storage space. Social space. Living space. Emergency shelter space.
Vehicles: Trucks for moving things. Cars for organizers. Cars for people in need.
Random project supplies: there's all sort of working groups, some seasonal, some ongoing, as well as some collaborations. Get involved in things you're passionate about and help share resources there if you can. ❤️
